Helping Families Move with Ease, Efficiency, and Empathy
I’m Tina, a move management expert, professional organizer, and the founder of Tidy by Tina. My passion lies in helping families transition from one chapter of their lives to the next—whether that’s relocating to a new home, downsizing after decades in one place, or handling a loved one’s estate.
After years of helping families create more functional and clutter-free homes, I realized that the best time to make a real impact is during the move-in and move-out process. Too often, people carry clutter and emotional baggage from one home to the next, simply because letting go feels like losing a part of their past. My mission is to simplify the moving process, helping you keep what truly matters while releasing what no longer serves you—so you can start fresh in your new space with less stress and more clarity.
A Lifetime of Moving, A Passion for Organization
Moving isn’t just something I help others with—it’s something I know deeply. I moved every year of my childhood and crossed the country five times, so I understand firsthand how overwhelming the process can feel. But I also know that when broken down into manageable phases—decluttering, packing, moving, and unpacking—a chaotic transition can become an organized and empowering experience.
Before launching my professional organizing business in 2020, I spent over a decade as an executive assistant, managing the logistics of high-level business operations and personal lives. When the pandemic hit, I had a newborn and a teenager at home, and I made the decision to build a business that allowed me to put my family first—while helping others bring order to their own homes and lives.
How I Make Moving Easier for You
Moving is more than just packing boxes—it’s project management, decision-making, and emotional labor all at once. I act as your general contractor for the entire move process, taking care of:
✔ Planning & Organization – Creating a customized plan based on your timeline and needs
✔ Decluttering – Helping you decide what to keep, donate, or discard
✔ Packing & Coordination – Ordering materials, scheduling movers, and overseeing every detail
✔ Unpacking & Organizing – Setting up a functional, organized home so you can settle in stress-free
I partner with trusted movers, haulers, stagers, and interior designers to provide full-service move management, so you don’t have to juggle multiple vendors.
More Than Just a Move—A Fresh Start
I approach every project with empathy and efficiency. Whether you’re relocating with kids, downsizing after 50 years, or grieving a loved one while handling their estate, I hold space for the emotional weight of this transition while keeping things moving forward.
As someone who lives with ADHD, I also understand how overwhelming the moving process can feel—especially for busy parents or individuals struggling with executive function challenges. My goal is to remove the stress and mental load so you can focus on what matters most: your family, your fresh start, and your next chapter.
What Makes My Services Different?
Anyone can pack a box. Movers can transport furniture. But I do so much more.
I handle the decisions, the logistics, and the emotional weight of moving—so you don’t have to. Instead of spending your weekends fighting with your spouse about what to pack, I handle the process from start to finish so your family can enjoy a smooth, stress-free transition.
From ensuring a cozy first night in your new home (with fresh sheets on the beds and an organized kitchen) to coordinating the pickup of unwanted items, I make sure no detail is left unfinished.
Real Impact, Real Families
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping families during some of their most stressful and emotional life transitions.
Recently, I worked with a 61-year-old woman with intellectual and physical disabilities. Her mother had just passed away suddenly, leaving no plan in place for her care. A family friend stepped in to find her a new home and called me to handle the move—as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
I spent the week packing her belongings, listening to stories about her mother, and making sure every detail of her new home was set up for a safe, comfortable, and empowering fresh start. Moves like these remind me why I do this work—so families can focus on what truly matters while I handle the rest.
